ICDE Technology and Innovation workshop

9:00am - 2:00pm | Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre

Join the ICDE Technology and Innovation Network (TIN) at this unique event exploring the magic of international collaboration in real time. This interactive workshop run by TIN lead, Dr Julie Lindsay from the University of Southern Queensland, offers all ICDE members the opportunity to engage with others interested in the latest innovation in inclusive education, develop creative problem solving skills and participate in innovative group work with contacts from around the globe. Let’s see what we can achieve together!

ICDE Global Doctoral

Symposium

This Symposium gathers Doctoral students and candidates studying within the field of inclusive education and offers them the chance to connect in person, meet with experts within the ICDE community and provide insights into the latest research and emerging topics within inclusive education. The event is organised within the ICDE Global Doctoral Consortium initiative which aims to support the future talents and leaders within the field of inclusive education.

(PhD/EdD students, candidates, and post-graduates who are pursuing research in the field of OFDL only)

ICDE Global Presidents’ Forum

10:00am - 1:00pm | Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre

The ICDE Global Presidents’ Forum is an exclusive, high-level Forum developed specifically for Presidents, Vice-Chancellors, Principals, Rectors, and CEOs of executive leaders among ICDE member institutions and organisations. Led by the ICDE President Mark Nichols and the ICDE Board members, the purpose of the GPF is the sharing of knowledge, best practices, and experiences from the highest leadership level of ICDE member institutions globally.

Education Policy Forum

2:00pm - 5:00pm | Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Education Policy Forum will, for the first time, bring together political and education leaders, policymakers and practitioners in the spirit of ako (reciprocal teaching and learning), to examine some key questions of interest to the international education community, with a particular focus on the Australasian and Pacific regions. This will be a policy-oriented, high-level seminar that will bring together key speakers and panellists from these two regions and be open for all to attend.
